. The candidate must satisfy the educational/skill qualification prescribed for the post applied for.. The candidate must be of sound health, active habits, and free from bodily defects or infirmities that would render them unfit for the service.. The candidate's character and antecedents must qualify them for the service.. The candidate must be a citizen of India.. A person in a bigamous marriage is not eligible for appointment.. A person dismissed from a State or Central Government service, or from an undertaking of the Central/State Government or local or other authorities, is not eligible..
