Qualification: . Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized university, registered with the Delhi Medical Council, Medical Council of India, or State Medical Council.. If PG/Diploma doctors are not available, MBBS doctors without a PG degree, having two years of experience (including 1 year in the concerned specialty) from a government or private hospital (not a private clinic), may be appointed for 1 year on contract.. As per the latest National Medical Commission (NMC/MCI) guidelines, if Super-Speciality Senior Residents (MCh/DM) are not available, Senior Residents from the concerned parent broad specialities will be considered.. If no suitable candidate is available against an advertised post, any other candidate present may be considered for Senior Resident irrespective of category, for short-term engagement..
