Post: Essential Qualification Summary, PGT (Chemistry / English): Integrated Post Graduate course from an NCTE-recognized institution/university in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks including B.Ed. component, OR Master's Degree with at least 50% marks in the subject along with a B.Ed, Degree from an NCTE-recognized institution with at least 50% marks, OR a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. or four-year integrated degree with at least 50% marks including B.Ed. component, Desirable: experience as TGT in a recognized institution, experience of working in a school, knowledge of computer application, and working knowledge of English.. TGT (English / Biology / Maths / Kannada / Physics / Social Science): Four-year integrated degree course from an NCTE-recognized institution with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject and in aggregate including B.Ed. component, OR Bachelor's/Honours Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject(s) along with a B.Ed, Degree from an NCTE-recognized institution with at least 50% marks, OR a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed., OR one-year B.Ed. (Special Education) from the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) with at least 50% marks, OR Post Graduation in the concerned subject with a minimum of 55% marks along with three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed, Candidates must also have qualified the Central Teachers Eligibility Test (Paper-II) conducted by CBSE and must have studied the relevant subject as an elective/main subject for the specified number of years/semesters, Subject-specific study requirements apply for each TGT post (for example, TGT Maths requires Mathematics, Physics, and one of Chemistry/Electronics/Computer Science/Statistics as per the notification; candidates with B.Sc, Hons in Physics or Chemistry are not eligible for TGT Maths).
