Qualification: . Only female candidates are eligible to apply for these posts.. A candidate must be an original resident of the Gram Sabha or Ward (in urban areas) against which the post is vacant.. Preference in selection is given to a widow, legally divorced woman, or an abandoned (deserted) woman belonging to a family living below the poverty line (BPL) in that Gram Sabha/Ward.. If no such widow/divorced/abandoned BPL candidate is available in that Gram Sabha/Ward, other women from a BPL family in the same Gram Sabha/Ward are eligible.. If no BPL widow/divorced/abandoned or other BPL woman candidate is available, women from an above-poverty-line (APL) family residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward are eligible.. Streams: B.E.
