Qualification: Master's Degree in Science/Commerce/Arts, NET/SET/SLET or Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations 2009/2016, Desirable: Indic knowledge in Archaeo Astronomy, Vastu Shastram, Yoga, Ayurveda etc.. Assistant Professor (Indian Scriptures Knowledge System):Master's Degree in Science/Commerce/Arts and Practitioners in Bharatiya - Indic/Sanskrit/Prakrit language and literature, lexicography, and Indian philosophy - Shastra Shikshan, including Sahitya, Darshanas, and IKS-based approaches on knowledge paradigms, Understanding in literary criticism, focusing on the Indian mind thought process and its relevance in the global context, Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET / SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph, D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil. / Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET. Desirable: Indic knowledge in the areas of Archaeo Astronomy, Pre-Siddhantic Astronomy, Vastu Shastram, Indic Architecture - Sthapatya kala, Puranas, Navya Nyay, Manuscript ology, Veda and Vedanta, Yoga, Ayurveda and many more subjects from the linguistic, Academic and philosophical aspects of IKS..
