Medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.. Postgraduate qualification e.g., MD/MS or equivalent.. Three years of teaching/research experience after MD/MS (or one year after DM/MCh as applicable).. Candidates must possess a medical qualification recognized by the IMC Act, a postgraduate degree (MD/MS or equivalent), and three years of teaching/research experience after the postgraduate degree..
