Qualification: . A pass in 12th standard/PUC (or an equivalent NIOS/other-board qualification) with Kannada as one language; the Data Entry Operator post additionally requires a computer-training certificate of at least 6 months.. Option: Prescribed Qualification. 1a: Passed second PUC (12th) with Kannada as one language. 1b: Passed 12th standard CBSE examination with Kannada as one language. 1c: Passed 12th standard ICSE board examination with Kannada as one language. 1d: Passed Class 12 examination conducted by any other state government education board with Kannada as one language. 1e: Passed a higher secondary education course via the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) with Kannada as one language. 1f: Passed a 3-year vocational diploma (CPEd/CPTC/ELTC) via NIOS – conducted through distance mode with one language subject and one vocational subject – with Kannada as one language; candidates who cleared all subjects except one in an equivalent-level exam may be treated as provisionally passed. 2a: A computer training course certificate of at least 3 months' duration, recognised by the Central or State Government (a certificate from a private institution is acceptable only if endorsed with a Government-recognised certificate). Streams: B.E, Diploma, 12th.
