Nationality: For Constables (Washerman, Barber, Water Carrier, Waiter, Tailor, Gardener, Cobbler), the candidate must be a citizen of India, For Constables (Driver, Veterinary, Carpenter, Nursing Orderly), only Indian citizens will normally be appointed, but subjects of Nepal or Bhutan may also be considered subject to Central Government permission.. Candidates must have passed 10th from a recognised board and must possess a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence to apply for SSB Constable Driver.. Post Name: Educational & Professional Qualification, Constable (Veterinary): 10th / Matriculation pass with Science as main subject from a recognised board and one year experience in treatment of different species of animals in a recognised veterinary hospital.. Constable (Driver) – Male: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised board and must possess a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence.. Constables (Gardener, Water Carrier, Cobbler, Tailor, Washerman, Barber, Waiter): Matriculation or equivalent plus either (i) two years work experience in the respective trade, or (ii) one year certificate course from a recognised ITI/Vocational Institute with at least one year experience in the trade, or (iii) two years diploma from a recognised ITI in the trade or similar trade; must qualify trade test; multi‑skilled candidates will be given preference.. Constable (Carpenter): Matriculation or equivalent and either (i) two years work experience in the trade, or (ii) one year ITI/Vocational certificate with one year experience, or (iii) two years ITI diploma in the trade; must qualify trade test.. Constable (Nursing Orderly): 10th pass from a recognised board, First Aid certificate from St, John’s Ambulance Organisation or Red Cross Society of India, and at least one year working experience as Nursing Orderly in a minimum 50‑bedded hospital/institution recognised by Central/State Government.. Salary Details

| Constable (All Trades Including Driver, Veterinary, Nursing Orderly) | Pay Level-3 of 7th CPC pay matrix with basic pay ₹21,700–69,100 plus applicable Dearness Allowance, Ration Money Allowance, House Rent Allowance and other admissible allowances. |
| Allowances & Benefits | Central government benefits including DA, HRA (or government accommodation where admissible), Ration Money, medical facilities, leave, uniforms and other allowances as per SSB/GoI rules. |
| Pension Scheme | Candidates will be covered under Defined Contributory Pension Scheme / Unified Pension Scheme as applicable to new entrants in Central Government service. |
