All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Vijaypur, Jammu, a Central Autonomous Body under PMSSY, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, has released Cycle-2 of its Rolling Advertisement for the posts of Senior Resident/Demonstrator (Employment Notification No. 04/2026, No. AIIMS/JMU/Rec.SR2/2026/01, dated 17.09.2026). This Cycle-2 notice supplements the base Rolling Advertisement (Employment Notification No. 03/2026, dated 30.03.2026) - all terms and conditions of the base advertisement apply except where specifically modified in this Cycle-2 notice.

The essential qualification is department-specific; In general, candidates need a postgraduate medical degree (MD/MS/DNB) in the relevant subject from a recognised university/institute, or an equivalent qualification; certain super-specialty departments (Cardiology, Neurology, Nephrology, Medical Oncology, Neonatology, Radiotherapy, etc.) also accept an eligible MD/DNB in an allied broad specialty (e.g., Medicine or Paediatrics) as an alternative route; Two departments - Anatomy and Pharmacology - additionally accept Non-Medical candidates (for the Senior Demonstrator post) holding an M.Sc./M.Biotech plus a Ph.D. in the concerned or allied subject from a recognised University/Institute.
