Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released the official Class-I (Junior Grade) Home Guards Notification 2026 on 05 May 2026 at the official website https://apsc.nic.in. A total of 22 vacancies have been announced under the APSC Home Guards Recruitment 2026. Eligible candidates aged between 21 and 38 years with a Graduate degree in any discipline from a Government-recognized University can apply online from 08 May 2026 to 07 June 2026. Graduate in any discipline from a Government-recognised University; Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian citizen as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and a permanent resident of Assam.. As domicile proof, candidate must upload Permanent Resident Certificate of Assam (for education/employment purpose) or Employment Exchange Registration Certificate issued in Assam.. Candidates must be Indian citizens and permanent residents of Assam, holding a Graduation degree in any discipline from a Government‑recognized University, along with a Permanent Resident Certificate or Employment Exchange Registration Certificate of Assam.
