Assam University Vice Chancellor Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online

Assam University is inviting applications for the post of Vice-Chancellor, with vacancy notified under its 2026 recruitment. Applicants must be a distinguished academician with a minimum of 10 years’ experience as Professor in a University or 10 years’ experience in reputed research and/or academic administrative organization, and should preferably be not more than 65 years of age as on closing date of receipt of applications. The post offers a fixed pay of Rs. 2,10,000 per month with Special Allowance of Rs. 11,250 and other usual allowances, along with terms as per Act, Statutes and Ordinances of the University.
