Only in case of a shortage of eligible postgraduate-degree candidates, candidates with a minimum qualification of Postgraduate Diploma in the relevant subject will be considered; however, such diploma holders will have 10 marks deducted in the merit list compared to postgraduate degree holders, and postgraduate degree holders will rank higher in merit even if diploma holders secure the same marks..
