CSIR-Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-CMERI), Durgapur has released the CSIR CMERI Technician Recruitment 2026 notification (Advertisement No. 01/2026) for 27 Technician-1 (Group-II) vacancies in trades like Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Machinist, Foundryman, and Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning. Candidates aged 18 to 28 years with 10th/SSC and ITI qualification can apply online from 04 July 2026 to 03 August 2026. Selected candidates will get Pay Level-2 with total emoluments of approximately ₹39,000 per month.

. Candidates need SSC/10th Standard with Science subjects and minimum 55% marks along with an ITI certificate or trade certificate, or alternatively 2 years of apprentice experience or 3 years of relevant work experience in a government organization.
