Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) has released the official Assistant Professor (Contract Basis) Notification 2026. A total of 1 vacancy has been announced under the CUSAT Assistant Professor Recruitment 2026. Candidates possessing a Master's Degree in Statistics with 55% marks along with NET/ SLET/ SET or a Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations are eligible to apply online. Master's Degree in Statistics with 55% marks, NET/ SLET/ SET or Ph.D as per UGC Regulations; Master's Degree in Statistics with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) from an Indian University or equivalent from accredited foreign University.. Must have cleared NET conducted by UGC/CSIR or similar test like SLET/SET or awarded Ph.D as per UGC Regulations.. Ph.D must meet specific conditions: awarded in regular mode, thesis evaluated by two external examiners, open viva voce conducted, two research papers published (at least one in refereed journal), two papers presented in conferences/seminars.. Desirable: Computer programming skills using SPSS/R/Python/SAS etc. and Ph.D.. Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in Statistics with 55% marks, along with NET/SLET/SET or a Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations.
