DFCCIL invites applications for the post of General Manager (Material Management) on deputation basis at its Corporate Office in New Delhi. The position is open to IRSS Officers of Indian Railways, Central Govt./CPSUs officers, and PSU employees meeting specified grade and experience criteria, with a maximum age limit of 55 years and a 3-year term extendable to 5 years.

Eligibility

Eligible candidates must be IRSS Officers or Central Govt./CPSU officers in Level-14 or SG (Level-13) with 17 years in Group A, or PSU employees in Rs. 1,00,000-2,60,000 (IDA) with 4 years in that grade. Age limit is not more than 55 years as of closing date.

Job Description

Formulation/updation of Procurement Policy, supervision of the system of procurement viz. having right module of e-procurement system, procurement through GeM, inventory management system, system of storage and distribution of the materials required for maintenance and train operation, coordinating with IT Department for customization of MM modules of SAP/ERP system for automation/computerization of the functions of material management , procurement of the materials and performing all other activities of Material Management.

Term Of Appointment

3 years extendable to 5 years (subject to exemption by rule of immediate absorption)
