DFCCIL invites applications on deputation basis for 4 posts of JPM/JM (Mechanical) and 2 posts of TRS Controller (Sr. Executive Level) across locations including Corporate Office, Prayagraj, Tundla, and Ahmedabad. Eligibility requires Central/State Government employees in analogous grades or PSUs with minimum 3 years of relevant experience in open line freight maintenance or traction operations.

Eligibility

Candidates must be Central/State Government employees or PSUs in Level 7/6 or equivalent, with at least 3 years of experience in Mechanical Department operations, preferably in open line freight maintenance, workshops, or as Power/Traction Controller. Minimum qualification: graduate degree in mechanical engineering or related field.

On usual terms of deputation for 11 years, extendable for 5 years subject to exemption from rule of immediate absorption

Experience Notes

Preference given to candidates with 3+ years in Open Line Freight Maintenance (Sick lines, depots, yard maintenance). Experience in IR workshops, PSUs in Mechanical Dept, or roles as Power/Traction Controller acceptable. Entries in APAR shall be reckoned.

Job Responsibilities

JPM/JM (Mechanical): Planning, execution, supervision of Mechanical Dept activities including way side equipment, new tech in rolling stock monitoring, disaster management equipment, coordination with Railway Units. TRS Controller: Equivalent to Chief Loco Inspector – handling locomotives/crew, failure management, en-route issues, way-side monitoring alerts, data entry, reports, inspections.
