DRDO VRDE Junior Research Fellow Recruitment 2026 -Apply Online

The Vehicle Research and Development Organization (DRDO VRDE) has officially announced the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Recruitment 2026 with 3 openings. The detailed notification was published in 2026 at the drdo.gov.in. Candidates who meet the age criteria of up to 28 years and hold a B.E./B.Tech (First Division with valid GATE 2024/2025/2026 score) or M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering can participate in the walk-in process with willingness submission by 30th April 2026 and attend the selection process from 4th May 2026 onwards. B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering disciplines (First Division with valid GATE Score 2024/2025/2026), M.E/M.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering disciplines (First Division at Graduate and Post-Graduate level). Junior Research Fellow (Mechanical Engineering):B.E/B.Tech Degree in First Division and a valid Cut off GATE Score (2024, 2025 or 2026) in Mechanical Engg, Mechanical & Automation Engg, Mechanical & Production Engg OR M.E/M.Tech with First Division both at Graduate and Post-Graduate level.. Junior Research Fellow (Electrical Engineering):B.E/B.Tech Degree in First Division and a valid Cut off GATE Score (2024, 2025 or 2026) in Electrical Engg, Electrical Power System Engg, Electrical & Electronics Engg, Power Electronics Engg OR M.E/M.Tech with First Division both at Graduate and Post-Graduate level.. For Mechanical Engineering, a B.E/B.Tech with a valid GATE score or M.E/M.Tech is required; For Electrical Engineering, similar qualifications in relevant electrical disciplines are necessary; Both require a First Division at the graduate and post-graduate levels.
