Recruitment Rules for Town Planner, Class-I

Gandhidham Municipal Corporation has issued recruitment rules for the post of Town Planner, Class-I. Appointments can be made either by promotion from Junior Town Planner, Class-II with 8+ years of experience or by direct selection based on educational and experience criteria. Candidates must be under 42 years of age (with relaxations for reserved categories) and possess a Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering, or a postgraduate degree in town/city planning.

For direct selection, candidates must be under 42 years, hold a Bachelor's in Architecture/Civil Engineering or relevant postgraduate degree, have 5 years of experience in planning, possess basic computer knowledge, and know Gujarati or Hindi. For promotion, candidates must have 8+ years as Junior Town Planner, Class-II and clear a computer knowledge exam.
