Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) has officially announced the Driver Recruitment 2026 with 4599 openings. The detailed notification was published on 06/06/2026 at https://ojas.gujarat.gov.in and https://gsrtc.in. Candidates who meet the age criteria and hold a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence with PSV Badge and minimum 4 years of experience in driving heavy vehicles including diesel buses can now submit their online applications from 06/06/2026 to 05/07/2026 (up to 23:59 hours). Candidates must have passed Standard 12 (10+2) from the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board or an equivalent recognized board; Additionally, a Basic Computer Knowledge certificate as per Gujarat Government resolution dated 13/08/2008 is also required; ITI holders (2-year course after Std. 10) with NCVT exam passed and a Polytechnic Diploma (3 years after Std. 10) are also considered equivalent to Std. 12 with an Education Board equivalence certificate.
