Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) is recruiting for 26 vacancies of Deputy Executive Engineer (Civil), Class-II under 09 Municipal Corporations. The recruitment involves a preliminary test (300 marks) followed by an interview. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and have at least three years’ experience at the level of Additional Assistant Engineer (Civil), Class-III or equivalent. Age limit for general candidates is 38 years (relaxable for certain categories).
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering/Technology from a recognized Indian institution. They must have at least three years’ experience in the field, either in Government, or in any Municipal Corporation in Gujarat, or in local bodies or Government undertaking board or corporation on a post equivalent to Additional Assistant Engineer (Civil), Class-III. Age limit is 38 years, relaxable for women (up to 45), and persons with disability (up to 45), and for in-service Municipal Corporation employees (no age limit if officiating continuously for 6 months or more).
