Indian Air Force (IAF) Intake 02/2027 Recruitment 2026 Notification Out - Apply Online for Agniveervayu & Airmen Group Y Posts from 06 July

The Indian Air Force has released two separate recruitment notifications inviting online applications for Agniveervayu Intake 02/2027 (under the Agnipath Scheme) and Airmen Group 'Y' (Non-Technical) Medical Assistant Trade for Intake 02/2027. Online registration for both notifications opens on 06 July 2026 and closes on 26 July 2026, with the online examination scheduled for 22-23 September 2026. While Agniveervayu is open to unmarried male and female Indian candidates for a four-year engagement, the Airmen Medical Assistant trade is open only to male Indian/Gorkha (Nepal) candidates for a 20-year regular cadre tenure. Applications must be submitted through the official CASB portal at iafrecruitment.edcil.co.in.

. 10+2 Route: Passed 10+2/Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English with minimum 50% aggregate and 50% in English (or equivalent 2-year Vocational Course with the same non-vocational subjects).. Diploma/Pharmacy Route: Passed 10+2/Intermediate with PCB & English (50% aggregate, 50% English) PLUS a Diploma/B.Pharma/B.Sc in Pharmacy with minimum 50% marks, along with valid registration from the State Pharmacy Council or Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) at the time of enrolment.. Candidates must have passed 10+2 with required subjects and minimum marks, or possess an eligible Engineering Diploma or Vocational Course qualification as specified in the official notification.. Stream: Qualification Required; Science Subjects: 10+2/Intermediate with Maths, Physics & English (50% aggregate + 50% in English) OR 3-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/Instrumentation/IT) with 50% marks OR 2-year Vocational Course with Physics & Maths (50% marks). Other than Science: 10+2/Intermediate in any stream (50% aggregate + 50% in English) OR 2-year Vocational Course (50% aggregate + 50% in English)
