ICAR National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources (ICAR-NBPGR) has officially released the Research Associate III, Young Professional II Recruitment 2026 notification for 2 vacancies. Eligible candidates with a Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Science in disciplines such as Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Genetics, or Plant Genetic Resources can attend the walk-in interview on 23-10-2026. The maximum age limit is 40 years for Research Associate-III and 45 years for Young Professional-II. Selected candidates will receive ₹67,000 plus 27% HRA for RA-III and ₹42,000 for YP-II. Ph.D./ Master's degree in Science; Research Associate III:Ph; D. (Doctoral) Degree in Science (Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Life Sciences/ Genetics/ Plant Genetic Resources from a Recognized University or equivalent Degree). Desirable: Experience in RPA/ LAMP/ isothermal amplification/ CRISPR-Cas12a based diagnostics, Experience in CRISPR-Cas integrated molecular biology studies, Publications in peer review journals in the area.. Young Professional II:Master’s degree in Science (Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Biochemistry/ Life Sciences/ Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Plant Genetic Resources from a Recognized University or equivalent Degree). Desirable: Research experience in plant molecular biology, or analysis of transgenic/ GM plants, Publications in peer review journals in the area.
