Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal (IISER Bhopal) has published the official Junior Research Fellow and Lab Assistant Notification 2026. The recruitment drive aims to fill 3 contractual positions. Candidates with a relevant postgraduate degree such as BS-MS, M.Sc., or M.Tech., or a B.Sc. degree with the required national-level examinations for JRF, as applicable to the post, are eligible to apply online up to 17 September 2026. Post graduate degree (BS-MS, MSc, M.Tech) or B.Sc. in relevant disciplines with national-level exams for JRF.. Junior Research Fellow:Post-graduate degree (BS-MS, MSc, M.Tech) in Atmospheric Sciences, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Analytical Chemistry, Civil/Environmental/Chemical Engineering; National-level examination such as NET/CSIR-JRF/UGC-JRF/GATE is mandatory; Hands-on experience with chromatography, spectroscopy, or X-Ray Fluorescence is required.. Lab Assistant:B.Sc. in Atmospheric Science, Environmental Science/Studies, Chemistry, Physics or other Science disciplines with a minimum of 60% marks.. A Post-graduate degree (BS-MS, MSc, M.Tech) in relevant fields like Atmospheric Sciences, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Analytical Chemistry, or Civil/Environmental/Chemical Engineering is required, along with a national-level exam qualification.
