Indian Institute of Technology Banaras Hindu University has released the official Junior Research Fellow Notification 2026. A total of 1 vacancy has been announced under the IIT BHU Junior Research Fellow Recruitment 2026. Eligible candidates up to 35 years of age with an M.Sc. in Physics, Astronomy, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with 60% marks and a valid NET/GATE score, or a relevant B.E./B.Tech. with 75% marks and a valid NET/ GATE score, can apply through email up to 02 September 2026. M.Sc. in Physics, Astronomy, Computer Science, Mathematics, B.E./B.Tech. in relevant field; M.Sc. in Physics, Astronomy, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field with minimum 60% marks (or equivalent CPI) and valid NET/GATE score OR four-year B.E./B.Tech. in relevant field with minimum 75% marks (or 7.5 CPI) and valid NET/ GATE score.. Candidates must have an M.Sc. in Physics, Astronomy, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with at least 60% marks and a valid NET/GATE score; Alternatively, a B.E./B.Tech. in a relevant field with 75% marks and a valid NET/GATE score is also accepted.
