Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) has published the Jr. Research Fellow Notification 2026. The recruitment drive aims to fill 1 Jr. Research Fellow position. Candidates holding an M.Tech degree or above in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent with a CGPA higher than 8.0, along with knowledge of combustion fundamentals, chemical kinetics, Cantera modeling, experimental instrumentation, and NET/GATE qualification (relaxable for CFTI graduates with CGPA above 8.000), are eligible to apply through email mode.

M.Tech degree or above in Mechanical/ Aerospace/ Chemical/Environmental engineering or equivalent with CGPA higher than 8, Fundamentals of Combustion, chemical kinetics, Model flames in Cantera, Experience with instrumentation of experimental setups with NET/GATE (relaxable for CFTI graduates with CGPA >8.000). M.Tech degree or above in Mechanical/ Aerospace/ Chemical/Environmental engineering or equivalent with CGPA higher than 8.. Should have knowledge of fundamentals of Combustion and chemical kinetics.. Should know how to model flames in Cantera.. Should also have some experience with instrumentation of experimental setups.. NET/GATE qualification is required; The requirement of NET/GATE may be relaxed for candidates from CFTIs with CGPA >8.000.. Candidates must possess an M.Tech degree or above in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, or Environmental engineering with a CGPA higher than 8. Specific knowledge in combustion, kinetics, and flame modeling is also required.
