Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through National Eligibility Tests (CSIR-UGC NET, GATE) or National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments.. Junior Research Fellow:Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following: (a) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE. (b) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc; For General category students 60% marks and above in all the educational degrees is required and for the reserved category candidates, 55% marks and above in all the educational degrees is required.. Candidates must possess a Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science or a Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in a Professional Course selected through national eligibility tests like CSIR-UGC NET or GATE.
