Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur has released the official Junior Research Fellow Notification 2026 under Advt. No. IIT/SRIC/R/LBS/2026/103. A total of 1 vacancy has been announced under the IIT Kharagpur Junior Research Fellow Recruitment 2026. Eligible candidates up to 28 years of age with a Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science or a Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in a Professional Course with NET/GATE or a National-level examination qualification can apply online up to 13 October 2026. Junior Research Fellow :Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course, Scholars selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship and GATE, Selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies; Additional requirements: BE/B.Tech in Civil/Construction Engineering with 75% marks or 7.5 CGPA. ME/MTech in Geotechnical/Structural Engineering with 75% marks or 7.5 CGPA. Knowledge on finite element software like ABAQUS, PLAXIS preferred.. Candidates must possess a Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science or Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course with NET/GATE qualification or equivalent national level exam.
