Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) has released the official JRF Recruitment Notification 2026 on 29 August 2026 at its official website, iitr.ac.in. A total of 1 vacancy has been announced under the IIT Roorkee JRF Recruitment 2026. Eligible candidates with an M.Tech./M.E./M.Sc. degree, with the prescribed specialization and mathematics courses at the Bachelor’s level, can apply online from 29 August 2026 to 15 September 2026. M.Tech/M.E./M.Sc. (with math courses at Bachelor's level) in Civil Engineering/ Remote Sensing & GIS/Environmental Engineering/ Atmospheric science or equivalent; M.Tech/M.E./M.Sc. (with math courses at Bachelor's level) in Civil Engineering/ Remote Sensing & GIS/Environmental Engineering/ Atmospheric science or equivalent.. Preference will be given to candidates with education from CFTI, possessing a GATE score, satellite remote sensing, UAV flying and processing, inverse modeling for emission inventories, air quality research and programming experience.. The required educational qualification is M.Tech/M.E./M.Sc. (with math courses at Bachelor's level) in Civil Engineering/ Remote Sensing & GIS/Environmental Engineering/ Atmospheric science or equivalent.
