Indian Maritime University (IMU) has notified 1 temporary vacancy for the Junior Research Fellow post in Kolkata. Candidates holding M.E./M.Tech. and B.E./B.Tech. with First Class in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Production Engineering or closely related discipline are eligible, subject to an age limit of 30 years for the GEN/ GEN-EWS category, 33 years for OBC-NCL, and 35 years for SC/ST/PwD/ candidates as on 1 November 2026. The engagement is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project tenure, offering Rs. 37,000 + HRA for Years 1-2 and Rs. 42,000 + HRA for Year 3.
