The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has released the MPSC Group C Recruitment 2026 notification (Advertisement No. 017/2026) on 25 June 2026 for 2,619 vacancies across five Group-C cadres - Clerk-Typist, Tax Assistant, Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector (AMVI), Industry Inspector, and Technical Assistant - under various departments of the Government of Maharashtra. Eligible candidates can apply online from 27 June 2026 to 17 July 2026 at mpsc.gov.in. The Combined Preliminary Examination is scheduled for 27 September 2026. Selected candidates will receive pay as per the 7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix, with the pay level ranging from S-6 (₹19,900–₹63,200) for Clerk-Typist up to S-23 (₹35,400–₹1,12,400) for Industry Inspector.
