M.Tech. or equivalent in GIS & Remote Sensing or related disciplines with 60% marks, M.Sc. or equivalent in GIS & Remote Sensing/Applied Geology/Geophysics/Geography/Environmental Science/Computer Science/Mathematics with 70% marks, Master of Computer Application with 70% marks, Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 70% marks, Mathematics up to 10+2 level, CSIR-UGC NET/GATE or equivalent national level exam qualification; Junior Research Fellow (JRF):M.Tech. or equivalent degree in GIS & Remote Sensing or equivalent discipline/Civil Engineering/ Computer Science and Engineering /Electronics Engineering /Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering /Information Technology /Agriculture Engineering /Mining Engineering with minimum marks 60% or CPI 6.5 (In case of SC/ST/PwD marks not below 55% or CPI 6.0) OR M.Sc. or equivalent degree in GIS & Remote Sensing/Applied Geology/ Geophysics/Geography/ Environmental Science/Computer Science/Mathematics with minimum marks 70% or CPI 7.5 (In case of SC/ST/PwD marks not below 65% or CPI 7.0) OR Degree in Master of Computer Application with minimum marks 70% or CPI 7.5 (In case of SC/ST/PwD marks not below 65% or CPI 7.0) OR Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a minimum of 70% marks or CPI 7.5 (In case of SC/ST/PwD marks not below 65% or CPI 7.0) (Candidates must have Mathematics as subject up to 10+2 level) AND selected through CSIR-UGC NET/GATE or National level examinations conducted by central government departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER, etc..
