B.E./BTech/M.E./MTech/M.Sc(Engineering) in Metallurgy/Metallurgical and Materials Engineering/ Ceramic/ chemical/ Mechanical/ Production/ Manufacturing Engineering/ Computer Science with minimum 65% marks or 7.0 CGPA, M.Sc in Physics/Chemistry/ Materials Science with minimum 65% marks or 7.0 CGPA, Valid GATE score as per note; B.E./BTech/M.E./MTech/M.Sc(Engineering) in Metallurgy/Metallurgical and Materials Engineering/ Ceramic/ chemical/ Mechanical/ Production/ Manufacturing Engineering/ Computer Science with minimum 65% marks or 7.0 CGPA in the preceding qualifying degree (or) M.Sc in Physics/Chemistry/ Materials Science with minimum 65% marks or 7.0 CGPA in the preceding qualifying degree..
