The Education Recruitment Directorate, Punjab (ERD Punjab) has released a recruitment notification for 2000 Physical Training Instructor (PTI) posts under the Primary Cadre in the School Education Department, Punjab. This recruitment is being carried out on the basis of memo no. 1/2026869727/1 dated 19-06-2026 issued by the Director of School Education (Elementary), Punjab. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website erd.punjab.gov.in from 01-08-2026 to 31-08-2026.

As per Appendix 'B' of the Punjab State Elementary Education (Physical Training Instructor) Service Rules, 2023 (as amended in 2025), candidates must have passed10+2 along with at least a two-year diploma or certificate in Physical Education, referred to as Diploma in Physical Education or Certificate in Physical Education (D.P.Ed/C.P.Ed) or an equivalent course under any other nomenclature.
