Spices Board, under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India, has released Notification No. 12/2026 (dated 01-10-2026) for the Spices Board Trainee (Development) Recruitment 2026. A total of 21 trainee posts are available at 21 Spices Board unit offices across four regions: Gangtok, Sakleshpur, Guwahati and Other Regions. This selection is exclusively for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates.
Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Forestry / Botany / Microbiology / Biotechnology; The selection is open exclusively to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates.. Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Forestry / Botany / Microbiology / Biotechnology from a recognised University/Institute, with working knowledge of computers.. Candidates who have not yet received their final degree certificate need not appear for the test.. Candidates must obtain the original Degree certificate within two years from the date of issue of the Provisional Degree certificate; Those who have not done so within this period are not eligible to apply.. Candidates who have undergone training in any office of Spices Board earlier need not apply again, whether or not they completed that training.
