The Sports Authority of India (SAI) has officially announced the Junior Engineer Recruitment 2026 for 1 vacancy on a contractual basis. Candidates not exceeding 64 years of age and possessing a Diploma or Degree in Civil/Electrical Engineering with the prescribed service experience, or a Master's Degree in Civil/Electrical Engineering with relevant experience in maintenance or construction of civil/sports infrastructure, are eligible to apply. Selected candidates will receive remuneration based on the last pay drawn minus pension as per the recruitment rules.

Diploma or Degree in Civil/Electrical Engineering OR Masters' Degree in Civil/Electrical Engineering.. Officers working under the Central Government/ State Government/ Union Territory Administrations: Analogous post as Junior Engineer or equivalent in their parent cadre/department.. Officers with at least 5 years of regular service in Level-5 in engineering cadre (Rs. 25500-81100) (PB-1, Rs. 5200-20200+ GP 2800/-).. Diploma in Civil Engineering from any recognized University or Institute.. Diploma in Electrical Engineering from any recognized University or Institute.. Degree in Civil Engineering from any recognized University or Institute/AICTE.. Degree in Electrical Engineering from any recognized University or Institute/AICTE.. Masters' Degree in Civil Engineering from recognized University Institute/ AICTE.. Masters' Degree in Electrical Engineering from any recognized University or Institute/AICTE.. Minimum one year experience in the various aspects of maintenance & constructions of civil infrastructure preferably sports infrastructure works OR Minimum one year experience in the various aspects of electrical works preferably with electrical works in sports infrastructure.. Candidates need a Diploma or Degree in Civil/Electrical Engineering with specific service experience, or a Master's Degree in Civil/Electrical Engineering with relevant experience.
