SSC JHT Recruitment 2026 Notification Out - Apply Online for 84 Junior Hindi Translator Posts

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official Combined Hindi Translators Examination 2026 notification on 23 April 2026 at its official website https://ssc.gov.in. A total of 84 tentative vacancies have been announced for the posts of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translation Officer, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator and Senior Translation Officer under various Ministries/Departments/Organizations of the Government of India. Eligible candidates aged between 18 to 30 years with a Master's degree in Hindi or English along with requisite translation diploma or experience can apply online from 23.04.2026 to 14.05.2026. Master's degree in Hindi/English with translation diploma or experience; Nationality: Citizen of India or eligible subjects of Nepal/Bhutan or persons of Indian origin from specified countries with a Government of India eligibility certificate.. Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory/elective subject at graduation level, or a Master’s degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory/elective subject, or a Master’s in any subject with Hindi/English as medium or compulsory subject at degree level; In addition, they must possess either a recognized Diploma/Certificate in translation (Hindi–English–Hindi) or relevant translation experience (2 years for junior posts and 3 years for senior posts) in Central/State Government or PSU offices.
