A total of 2 vacancies have been announced through the SVNIT Surat Recruitment 2026 for the posts of Urban Planner and Transport Planner.

B.E. / B.Tech. (Civil)/ B. Arch with M.E. / M.Tech / M.Plan (Urban Planning/ Urban Design/ Transport Planning/ Transportation Engineering & Planning / Highway & Transportation Engineering / Transportation Engineering), Any PG degree like MURP, M Design, Planning, MCP etc from reputed Institute; Urban Planner / Transport Planner:B.E. / B.Tech. (Civil)/ B. Arch with M.E. / M.Tech / M.Plan (Urban Planning/ Urban Design/ Transport Planning/ Transportation Engineering & Planning / Highway & Transportation Engineering / Transportation Engineering). Any PG degree like MURP, M Design, Planning, MCP etc from reputed Institute will be considered equivalent to M.E/M.Tech/M Plan (Working experience if any after Graduation or Post Graduation both will be considered).. Candidates must possess a B.E. / B.Tech. (Civil)/ B. Arch with M.E. / M.Tech / M.Plan in relevant fields or an equivalent PG degree from a reputed institute.
