Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released Indicative Advertisement No. 09/2026, inviting applications for 40 vacancies across 12 posts including Agricultural Engineer, Medical Officer/Research Officer (Unani), Scientist 'B', Civilian Medical Officer, Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor, Assistant Industrial Adviser, and Veterinary Assistant Surgeon. Online applications can be submitted throughupsconline.nic.in/orafrom 25th July 2026 to 14th August 2026. Selection will be through Direct Recruitment by Selection (interview/shortlisting based, no written exam). Pay scales range from Level-07 to Level-11 as per the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.

Qualification:Degree in Agricultural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university, with 2 years’ experience in testing/evaluation of agricultural machinery, or 2 years’ teaching/training experience in operation/maintenance of tractors and agricultural implements; Age limit:33 years (OBC).
