HPSC has confirmed that the syllabus for the HCS (JB) Main Written Examination 2023-24 remains unchanged and will be based on the older laws: Indian Penal Code, 1860; Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973; and Indian Evidence Act, 1872. The new Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and related acts will not be applicable for the exam scheduled from July 12, 2024, to July 14, 2024.
