Head Constable (Steward)

12th class pass from a recognised Board; Diploma of minimum two years duration in Catering and Kitchen Management from an institution recognised by the Central or State Government; and minimum one year working experience as Steward in a minimum 100‑bedded hospital or institution recognised by Central/State Government.

Head Constable (Communication)

Head Constable (Steward, Communication, Electrician, Veterinary)

Level‑4 Pay Matrix (7th CPC) with basic pay ₹25,500 – 81,100 per month along with applicable Dearness Allowance, Ration Money Allowance, House Rent Allowance and other admissible allowances as per SSB and Government of India rules.

Allowances & Benefits

In addition to basic pay, Head Constables are entitled to DA, HRA (or government accommodation where admissible), Ration Money, medical facilities, leave benefits, uniforms and other central government allowances from time to time.

Pension Scheme

Selected candidates will be covered under the Defined Contributory Pension Scheme (New Pension Scheme) or Unified Defined Contributory Pension Scheme (UPS) applicable to new entrants in Central Government services as per prevailing rules.
