Qualification: PhD with semiconductor quantum optics/ultrafast optics (experimental) background, with proper hands-on knowledge of building optical setups., 1st class Bachelor degree (B.Tech.)/Masters degree with knowledge of semiconductor physics with NET/GATE qualification.. Research Associate-I:PhD with semiconductor quantum optics/ultrafast optics (experimental) background, with proper hands-on knowledge of building optical setups.. Jr. Research Fellow:1st class Bachelor degree (B.Tech.)/Masters degree with knowledge of semiconductor physics with NET/GATE qualification, The requirement of NET/GATE examination for the selection to the post of JRF/SRF may be relaxed for the candidates who have graduated from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) with a CGPA of more than 8.000 (80% aggregate marks).. For the Jr. Research Fellow post, candidates must possess a 1st class Bachelor's degree (B.Tech.) or Master's degree with knowledge of semiconductor physics and a valid NET/GATE qualification, Graduates from CFTIs with a CGPA above 8.000 may be exempted from NET/GATE..
