Eligibility is prescribed as per Para 3(vii) of Master Circular No. 7, dated 13.12.2019, and covers both educational and cultural qualifications.

Eligibility Items

Intermediate or equivalent examination passed with 50% aggregate marks from any recognised Board/University. The 50% condition is not insisted upon for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and for candidates possessing a higher qualification such as Graduation/Post-Graduation from a recognised university.
ORMatriculation passed from a recognised Board plus ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT.
For Technical Posts:Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI from institutions recognised by NCVT/SCVT, OR Matriculation/SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship.
