Eligibility Items

Project Associate-I:Post Graduate degree in Life Sciences/ Biochemistry/ Chemistry/ Food chemistry/ Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology/ Agricultural Sciences/ Agronomy/ Genetics and Plant Breeding. Desirable: Proven hands-on experience in computational analysis and interpretation of biological data, particularly NGS data and strong programming skills in Python, R, or Perl, with experience in scripting under Linux/UNIX environments; Experience in agriculture research for phenotyping, crop management & statistical analysis; Experience in analytical food chemistry; Publications in peer-reviewed high impact journals
Project Assistant:B.Sc. in Agriculture/ Life Sciences or 3year Diploma in Engineering & Technology/ Computer/ Information technology. Desirable: Working experience in field experiment, data recording in germplasm collections for phenotyping and crop management & statistical analysis; Proficiency in computer operations (MS office)

Project Associate-I	Rs. 31,000/- + 27 % HRA to Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET (ii) including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions. II) 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (I) above
