Qualification: M.Sc. in Agrometeorology or Agronomy/Meteorology/Agriculture Physics, 10+2 Science or Diploma in Agriculture with computer knowledge, Research Associate (RA) under GKMS Scheme:Post-Graduation Degree (M.Sc.) in Agrometeorology from a recognized University/Institution, If candidates with Agrometeorology qualification are not available, then candidates with qualifications in Agronomy/Meteorology/Agriculture Physics may be considered, Candidate having knowledge/experience in meteorological data processing, interpretation with field data, agricultural knowledge with experience, remote sensing and crop simulation modelling will be preferred, Preference will be given to the candidates who are having experience in the field of Agrometeorology & knowledge of computer, One research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI) NAAS rated (≥4).. Agromet Observer:10+2 from science stream /Diploma in Agriculture from recognized University/Institution along with the knowledge of computer operations, Candidates with experience in recording meteorological data, documentation, Agrometeorological data analysis and report writing are preferable.. For the Research Associate position, candidates need a Post-Graduation Degree (M.Sc.) in Agrometeorology, Alternatively, qualifications in Agronomy, Meteorology, or Agriculture Physics may be considered if Agrometeorology graduates are unavailable, Experience in related fields is preferred.. Streams: M.Sc, B.E, Graduate, Diploma, 12th, Agriculture.
