Eligibility Text

Professor - Medical Candidates:A medical qualification included in Schedule I, II, or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 along with a postgraduate degree such as MD/MS or equivalent in the respective discipline. For surgical super-specialties, M.Ch. is required; for medical super-specialties, D.M. is required (2, 3, or 5-year recognized course). Experience required: 14 years after MD/MS, or 12 years after D.M./M.Ch. (2 or 5-year course after MBBS), or 11 years after a 3-year D.M./M.Ch.Non-Medical Candidates:Master's degree + Doctorate degree from a recognized university + 14 years of teaching/research experience after obtaining the doctorate.
