As per department: First Class UG & PG in relevant discipline and PhD in desired specialization (with specified relaxations for direct PhD, integrated programmes). Nationality: Applications are invited from qualified Indian Nationals and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders.. NITK strives to maintain pan-India character and gender balance; women candidates are especially encouraged to apply.. Candidates must have First Class at both UG and PG levels in the relevant discipline (treated as 60% or 6.5/10 CGPA if class not specified) and a PhD in the specified area of specialization, with eligibility also for candidates who completed a direct PhD after UG or an integrated programme from reputed institutes, as per NIT Statutes.
