AB.Ed (General)degree from an NCTE recognised institute is mandatory; only General B.Ed is acceptable for teaching Classes IX–X as per Education Department instructions.. B.Ed (Special Education)is not treated as an alternative professional qualification for APPSC TGT (Secondary) posts.. The minimum duration of the B.Ed programme should betwo yearsincluding mandatory school internship; however, one‑year B.Ed degrees obtained before 2015 are also considered eligible.. Candidates who have completed aFour‑Year Integrated Degree Programme with B.Ed (General)are eligible, provided they meet the subject‑specific requirements.. Final year / final semester students of Bachelor’s Degree or B.Ed arenot eligibleto apply for APPSC TGT 2026..
