Qualification: . Good academic record with at least 55% marks, or an equivalent grade of B in the 7-point scale (letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E, F), at the Master's degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from a foreign university.. NET is compulsory for candidates with a Master's degree, along with one publication in a NAAS-rated refereed journal, for disciplines in which NET is conducted.. NET can be waived for candidates holding a Ph.D. completed with course work as prescribed by UGC Regulation 2009, provided they have at least two full-length publications with a NAAS rating of not less than 4 as on the last date of application submission, Ph.D. holders without course work do not qualify for NET exemption.. Ph.D., if available, shall be preferred.. The University follows the Bihar Government reservation policy, Reservation benefits (including EWS, 35% female reservation, and fee relaxation) are applicable only to candidates who are original residents of Bihar, subject to submission of a residential certificate..
