ICAR Indian Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR IARI) has released the official Senior Research Fellow Notification 2026. A total of 3 vacancies have been announced under the ICAR IARI Senior Research Fellow Recruitment 2026. Eligible candidates up to 35 years of age with a Master’s degree in Plant Biotechnology, Plant Physiology, Plant Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or Microbiology, along with a 4/5-year Bachelor’s degree with First Division, can apply online up to 28 August 2026. Master's degree in Plant Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology/ Plant Biochemistry/Life sciences/ Microbiology; Senior Research Fellow (SRF):Master's degree in Plant Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology/ Plant Biochemistry/Life sciences/ Microbiology with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's degree (1st Division). Candidates having graduate degree in basic Sciences with 3 years of Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree should have NET/GATE/ICAR-SRF (PhD entrance) qualification and 2 years of research experience; Desirable: Experience in basic plant physiology, biochemistry and molecular techniques, molecular cloning, genetic transformation of crops, particle gun mediated transformation, plant tissue culture, development and analysis of transgenic plants.
