Eligibility Items

Senior Research Fellow (SRF):Master's degree in Plant Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology/ Plant Biochemistry/Life sciences/ Microbiology with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's degree (1st Division). Candidates having graduate degree in basic Sciences with 3 years of Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree should have NET/GATE/ICAR-SRF (PhD entrance) qualification and 2 years of research experience. Desirable: Experience in basic plant physiology, biochemistry and molecular techniques, molecular cloning, genetic transformation of crops, particle gun mediated transformation, plant tissue culture, development and analysis of transgenic plants.
